whenever you are in Angeles or Pampanga, dont forget to buy the best kapampangan kakanin
BEST PALABOK EVER BEST SIOMAI EVER BEST PRICE Please try all the food that they consider as the 'best seller'. We got really surprised by the flavor and the value for money. The staff at that time was very hospitable. The place is well maintained and clean. It's just a little dark, but who cares if the food will light up your world.
First time to eat here. Affordable pricing. People are always lining up at the cashier. You can buy different kinds of "kakanin" na masarap. I love their pork empanada & syempre the famous palabok. Was about to buy one box of empanada, unfortunately 3 pieces remaining. Bilis maubos tinda nila. Bought as well pasalubong. Fav sansrival, sapin2, cassava cake, mochi & siomai. Kudos to you guys. Saraap bumalik
I went to Angeles Pampanga for a workshop. After the workshop, me and my co participants asked locals for a place where we can buy pasalubongs and Susie's Cuisine was the most recommended place. We went there and we're amazed to see the wide array of Kapampangan pasalubong items for tourists. Aside from the pasalubong items, they also offered local and authentic Kapampangan Dishes. There were dinuguan, pakbet, to name a few, then there were a lot of choices of delicacies like garlic peanuts, dried pusit, pastillas, macapuno and many others.
A no frills eatery! Great for pasalubong and a wide range of merienda selection. We tried the local mochi, leche flan with macapuno, tibok tibok and pancit palabok. The tibok tibok was a bit too sweet for my taste. But still worth a try! The staff there was very accommodating of our many questions of their kakanin.
Their cheese cake is just fine, but this rice cake is awesome! Locally, they call it kaning malagkit. Their buko pandan juice is refreshing.
Walked in on a Sunday morning @ 0800hrs and the place is already full of diners, with a queue of people taking out. Different variety of local food, both savory & sweet. Loved the cassava cake, although I wish it could be a little less sweet. Mochi is chewy and nicely done. Tamales is nice when warm. The palabok is good with a healthy portion of gravy. For my palate, a little less salty will be perfect. Will surely revisit this place.
